I recently enrolled in the Active Core online Studio Pilates class I found the classes very easy to understand and follow, and what I found really good was the variety of levels and classes, the online class is shorter than the studio class but if I wanted to do more it was easy to switch to another class. I would recommend this as a good option for anyone who wishes to do Pilates at home.

Hi, I'm Jess – I am the head instructor here at Active Core. I am a fitness and rehab expert with diplomas in Pilates, Sport, and Recreation. At Active Core, I've crafted a judgment-free space for all ages and fitness levels to enjoy Pilates at their own pace. Join us for a social and uplifting workout experience!

Meet Lauren

Lauren is our second instructor here at Active Core. She is a trained Pilates instructor who has joined the team to help spread the word about Pilates and how it can help you! Lauren currently teaches our new Shape classes as well as some of our mat classes. 

What Our Classes Are Like

SOCIAL, AFFORDABLE, SMALL GROUP CLASSES

 

At Active Core we offer social and affordable Pilates classes based in Meeanee, Napier. This includes Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates, Senior Chair Pilates as well as our new Shape classes

We hold small classes of 6-8 students per class so everyone is able to get the help they need during every session. Each class is 45 minutes long and run by a trained Pilates instructor - Jessica & Lauren. Our chair classes run for 30 minutes and are suited for those that are unable to exercise on the floor but would still like to improve their strength, mobility and balance.

For those that wish to do Pilates at home I also have an Online studio where you can do our workouts at home or while you are away on holiday. If you would like to find out more about this please get in touch or check out the Online page.
